π»There's no denying I am a huge fan of Studio Ghibli. The art, the storytelling, all of it. So, when my sister came to me with a custom request w/ Ghibli fabric from a co-worker of hers, I was ecstatic. She wanted a pajama set for her baby when he gets a little bigger and can fit into a 2T. The fabric was not off the bolt, but cut and frankenstein-ed from 2 toddler Ghibli t-shirts, so there wasn't enough from those alone to make the complete set. I took the opportunity to try some color blocking, using a pattern from ElemenoPatterns on Etsy. Found the grey ribbed knit at Hobby Lobby. Pattern was easy to follow except the part about the zipper guard. I also ended up using some of the gray knit to patch in the missing notches on the back of the set where I went ahead and took the sleeves out of one of the shirts to still use as the sleeves in the final product.π»

The great achievement of getting that zipper in. I was a little scared of it beforehand. ππ
